Keep internet freedom free.

OpenRung has no subscriptions, no ads, and no premium tier — on purpose. Donations are what make that possible.

What your donation funds

Donate

The OpenRung Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 42-3594292. Donations from U.S. taxpayers are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, and are processed securely by Every.org, a nonprofit fundraising platform.

OpenRung never charges users, runs ads, or sells data. If the app helped you or someone you love, a donation keeps it free for the next person standing behind the same wall.

Where the money goes

We keep our commitments simple enough to audit: every line of OpenRung's code is public under GPL-3.0, our privacy policy states plainly what early-access builds collect, and the network's design — including what the broker can and cannot see — is documented in the open. A donation to OpenRung directly funds infrastructure, security, volunteer tools, and user support — the work described above — for a network that will always be free to use, with no ads shown and no data sold.

Other ways to support the mission

If a donation isn't possible, you can still help: run a volunteer relay if you have the technical comfort, share OpenRung with someone who needs it, or send us a note at admin@openrung.org — hearing that the network helped someone is fuel for everyone involved.
